Instructions
To ensure reliable operation and prevent damage to the cable, please observe the following requirements:
- Do not leave or install the SDI cable in direct sunlight for extended periods. The cable must be adequately protected from direct UV exposure and excessive heat.
- Protect the cable from physical damage, particularly when routed or temporarily laid on the floor. Suitable cable ramps, covers, or other protective measures must be used where necessary.
- Do not walk or place heavy equipment, cases, furniture, or other objects on top of the cable, as this may crush or permanently damage the cable.
- Avoid sharp bends, kinks, twisting, or excessive pulling during installation and handling.
- The cable must be handled by the cable itself to prevent damage to the connectors and cable termination.
- Do not apply adhesive tape directly to the cable unless it is residue-free and suitable for cable use.
- Keep connectors clean, dry, and protected from dust, moisture, and mechanical impact when not in use.
- Do not route the cable through areas exposed to water, excessive moisture, heat sources, or chemicals.
- Secure and route the cable appropriately to prevent trip hazards, accidental pulling, or excessive stress.
Failure to follow these precautions may result in cable damage, signal degradation, intermittent operation, or complete signal loss.
